I commented on Citlalli, Gianna, and Diego's blogs.
I am reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. This is such a great book, I couldn't put it down. Which is a bad thing, because it kept me from doing my other work. Whoops.
Hannah Baker is a teenage girl who committed suicide. She leaves behind a box full of recordings before she killed herself. In the tapes, she discusses thirteen reasons why she ended her life. If you were someone who was delivered the recording, you were on the list on why she died. The first person who hears the tapes is a boy named Clay. He says they didn't know each other too well so he was confused on why he received the tapes.
In the first few pages, she tells us about a boy named Justin. He was Hannah's first kiss. When she was alive, people said that her and Justin did more than kiss so it gave her a bad reputation. People can be so horrible.
In the beginning, Hannah says that at first, people who are listening are going to think that those are such small things but that it gets worse from there. Which really sucks because the beginning already sounds bad. People started rumors about her calling her a "slut" and I feel bad for Hannah. I wonder if anyone was there for her. Or what her family was like. Maybe if someone was there for her, she would've been okay. Was it so bad that no matter who was there, she felt hopeless? I'm looking forward to finding out.

This book does sound very interesting and unique. It's actually really captivating that she made recordings to these people and whoever was delivered a recording was one of the reasons why she died. I wonder why there were so many reasons why she commited suicide. I'm really looking forward to your next blog. Good job!
